The first public release of Duskan: a free, local-first time tracker for Windows.
Added
- Automatic tracking in the background: the app in front, its window title, and the time you spend idle, locked or away.
- A day and week calendar that shows what you planned next to what actually happened.
- Areas, folders and tasks to organise your work. Type a new task into "Add work" to create it and plan it in one step.
- Pick a task in the bar at the top to time it, or keep an eye on it from the floating mini widget.
- Analytics of where your hours go, by area and by app.
- Rates and invoices, exported as PDF, for the areas that pay you.
- A short welcome tour on first launch.
- Daily backups on your computer, with "Back up now" and "Open folder" in Settings → Devices.
- An error log you can attach when reporting a problem, and links to the website, privacy details and support in Settings → General.
- Choose whether weeks start on Monday or Sunday.
- Updates download in the background; restart when it suits you.
Everything you track stays on your computer. There is no account and no telemetry.
